Scott Salmirs is President and Chief Executive Officer at ABM, one of the world’s largest facility services and solutions providers
A values-guided leader, Scott has served as CEO since 2015, leading multiple enterprise-wide transformations to drive long-term growth and elevate the experience and value ABM delivers to stakeholders, while developing ABM’s inclusive, people-centered culture. Under Scott’s leadership, ABM has grown revenue from $4.9B to $8.1B, and more than doubled adjusted EBITDA while increasing margins by more than 60 percent.
For more than a decade prior, he served in executive management roles with increasing responsibilities that included strategic oversight of ABM’s rapidly growing international and aviation business, as well as regional leader for the U.S. Northeast where he tripled revenues and increased the client retention rate to 96 percent. Prior to ABM, Scott held leadership positions at Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers and CBRE, where he managed each company’s extensive owned, managed and leased real estate portfolios.
With his commitment to giving back to the services industry and his community, Scott serves on several committees and philanthropic boards, including the Cleaning Coalition of America and the State University of New York College at Oneonta’s Business Advisory Council. In addition to serving on ABM’s Board of Directors, Scott serves on the Board of ICF International, Inc., a leading global consulting and digital services provider. He also is on the Board of the Outreach Project, an organization dedicated to rehabilitating young adults with substance abuse problems, is a founding board member of Donate Eight, a non-profit organization committed to increasing organ donation awareness, and is on the Board of the Partnership for NYC. Scott has also been recognized as one of the Empower Top 10 Advocates creating a more diverse and inclusive business environment.
Scott received his bachelor’s degree in in business economics from the State University of New York College at Oneonta, and an MBA in finance from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
As President of ABM’s Aviation business, Sean Bromfield is responsible for all aspects of the company’s global aviation business, providing service excellence to airlines and airports across the U.S., U.K., Ireland and the Middle East. With nearly 30 years of operational leadership experience in the travel and service industries, he’s demonstrated an ability to build relationships, lead high-performing teams, and successfully navigate a dynamic environment.
Sean was previously instrumental in driving growth and operational excellence as Senior Vice President of Operations for ABM Aviation with multi-site and multi-client segment responsibilities in the U.S. Prior to joining ABM, he spent 26 years with Hertz Global Holdings in progressive leadership roles, including Division Vice President for the U.S. Central Region and Canada. A native of South Africa, Sean is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a graduate of Wingate University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
As Senior Vice President of ABM’s Manufacturing and Distribution business, Ed is responsible for teams that deliver service excellence in material handling, production staffing, janitorial, transportation, maintenance, sustainability, energy, other services across the United States. Ed is passionate about growth and maximizing outcomes for all, including increased productivity and throughput for clients, and greater mobility and career opportunities for team members.
Ed previously held leadership roles in Retail Distribution and ABM’s Business & Industry West, Pacific Northwest and Southeast regions, as well as functional areas including Strategic Accounts and IT. Prior to Ed’s 20 years of experience in facilities services, he worked in the telecom industry, lived in China as part of a wireless joint venture with the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), and was responsible for the divestiture of multiple wireless network assets in the U.S. He has a degree in Finance from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Cary currently serves as Chief Marketing Officer for ABM. As part of the executive team, she is focused on ensuring tight integration between sales, marketing, communication, operations, brand, and culture. She oversees all strategic planning, market and client research, creative services, and outbound and inbound marketing.
In her 20 years with ABM, Cary has led both corporate and business-segment marketing and sales operations teams. She was a core driver of the ABM brand transformation and has overseen the brand integrations of 20+ acquisitions.
Prior to ABM, Cary has held various B2B marketing leadership roles in real estate development and construction, telecom, and insurance. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Mercer University, is a USGBC LEED Accredited Professional and serves on the governing body for the Atlanta CMO Executive Summit. Cary also serves on the Emerging Leaders Council at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and is an active supporter of CHOA Sibley Heart Center.
Billy is the Senior Vice President of the West region for ABM’s Business & Industry group. He is a seasoned facility services leader with nearly 20 years of experience in the industry and a depth of operational, sales, and technical expertise. Through his extensive understanding of the industry, Billy believes in delivering great client outcomes through cultivating a culture of success by building a best-in-class team, and setting clear expectations, and managing to those expectations on a recurring basis.
Prior to ABM, Billy held leadership roles at Able Services, OneSource, and SiteStuff, Inc. Billy is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker and an alumnus of The University of Texas at Austin.
Martin is the Senior Vice President of the Great Lakes & Northeast region for ABM’s Business & Industry group. He is responsible for achieving operational growth and overall management of commercial real estate and other client accounts spanning parts of the Midwest, to New England, to the mid-Atlantic region. He has extensive experience leading operational personnel, improving productivity, and optimizing financial performance.
Martin joined ABM in 1987 as a Supervisor / Project Manager and ascended quickly through various senior leadership roles across the Northeast region. He has been Senior Vice President, Great Lakes & Northeast since 2014.
Richard Sykes is SVP and President, UK & Ireland, and joined ABM in May 2023. Richard is a strong leader with a proven track record for accelerating growth for global operations, building effective teams and driving transformation across large, multi-billion dollar businesses. Richard started his career at Taylor Woodrow, developing through a range of Facilities Management roles, and joins ABM after various roles at ISS, where he was regional CEO in various capacities over the last decade.
Scott Camp is a proven leader with operational and business development expertise. As President of Education, he is responsible for all aspects of operations across ABM’s growing portfolio of grade K-12 school systems and higher education colleges and universities.
In this role, Scott has leadership responsibility for the $850M Education segment, working closely with regional and executive leadership across the United States in growing the business, expanding ABM’s scope of offerings, developing talent, and continuing the rollout of ELEVATE initiatives and technology, with the ultimate goal of providing healthier, more productive academic spaces for students, faculty, and staff in the communities across the U.S.
Prior to joining ABM in 2024, Scott advanced through successive leadership roles over 20 years with Iron Mountain and Recall Corporation (acquired in 2016). He holds a Master of Business Administration from Emory University Goizueta Business School and a Bachelors of Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
As President of Engineering for ABM, Martin (Marty) Montagne leads all of ABM's engineering operations across the U.S., encompassing over 10,000 licensed engineers and is responsible for ensuring ABM’s engineering operations deliver sustainable profitability while expanding our best-in-class capabilities to maximize revenue-generating opportunities through cross-selling and strong client partnerships and innovation.
Marty has more than 15 years of experience in both strategic growth and hands-on field operations in engineering and technical services for multinational corporations. He previously served as President and COO at Conquest Firespray, Managing Director of Engineering Services at Jones Lange Lasalle, and a variety of leadership roles at Johnson Controls.
Marty graduated from the University of Houston with a Master of Business Administration in Management, and University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Operations Engineering.
